A private chauffeur collects you anywhere in San Diego County — home, hotel, office or the SAN terminal — and drives you directly to your Tijuana address. One vehicle, one driver, no transfers at the line and no hauling luggage through a pedestrian crossing.

A private driver from San Diego to your Tijuana address
Most San Diego to Tijuana options end at the border and leave you to arrange the rest. We don't. Your chauffeur drives the full journey and delivers you to the actual street address — a clinic in Zona Río, a hotel downtown, a factory in Otay, a family home in Playas. Luggage stays in the vehicle the entire time, and you're in a climate-controlled, late-model vehicle rather than a shared shuttle with strangers.

Private transportation to CBX and TIJ airport
Flying out of Tijuana International Airport (TIJ) or the Cross Border Xpress (CBX) terminal in Otay Mesa? A private ride beats a shared shuttle in every way that matters on a flight day: your pickup time is built around your departure, the vehicle is exclusively yours, and the chauffeur drops you at the CBX terminal in Otay Mesa or the TIJ terminal curb — no waiting for other passengers, no detours for other pickups, no fixed shuttle schedule to match. For arrivals, we collect you at CBX or TIJ and drive you straight home, to your hotel, or onward to SAN. Note the difference: CBX is on the U.S. side, so a CBX drop-off does not cross the border by car — you walk the CBX bridge into the airport with your boarding pass and documents. A drop-off at the TIJ terminal curb is a cross-border ride into Mexico. Tell us which one you need when you request a quote.

Direct drop-off at the CBX bridge entrance or the TIJ airport curb
Arrivals met at CBX or TIJ with luggage handled door to door

Business, hotel and event transfers
This route isn't only for airport runs. We drive business travellers to meetings in the Zona Río business district and the Otay Mesa industrial parks, hotel guests to downtown and Playas properties, and private groups to dinners, weddings and events across the city. Same principle every time: one chauffeur, one vehicle, your schedule — quoted as a flat rate before you book.
Common Tijuana destinations we serve
Zona Río and the Agua Caliente corridor for business and medical appointments; the Cacho and Chapultepec neighbourhoods for dental and surgical clinics; downtown Tijuana and Avenida Revolución for hotels and dining; Playas de Tijuana on the coast; and the Otay Mesa industrial parks for manufacturing and supplier visits. If your address isn't in that list, send it with your quote request — the driver plans the route in advance either way.
About the border crossing
We cannot and will not promise a specific border wait time — it varies by hour, day and lane, and no operator controls it. What we do control: your chauffeur monitors current conditions before departure, chooses between the San Ysidro and Otay Mesa crossings based on where you are actually going, and keeps you in a climate-controlled vehicle rather than standing in a queue. If you need to be somewhere at a fixed time, tell us and we'll build a departure buffer into the plan.
How booking works
Send your pickup and drop-off, date, time and passenger count through the quote form or by phone. You get a flat, all-in figure back before anything is confirmed — no metered fares and no surge pricing. Once you approve it, the vehicle and chauffeur are held for your time slot and you receive written confirmation with your driver's details.

Do you drive across the border, or drop off at the line?+
We drive across. Your chauffeur takes you from your San Diego pickup point to your Tijuana address in the same vehicle.
How does private transportation to CBX work?+
Your chauffeur collects you at your San Diego address at a time set around your flight and drops you at the Cross Border Xpress bridge entrance in Otay Mesa. For arrivals, we're waiting at CBX when you come through and drive you straight to your next address.
What is the difference between a CBX drop-off and a TIJ airport drop-off?+
CBX (Cross Border Xpress) is a terminal on the U.S. side in Otay Mesa. We drop you there and you walk across the CBX bridge into Tijuana Airport with your boarding pass and travel documents — the car does not cross the border. A TIJ drop-off means we drive you across the border to the Tijuana Airport terminal curb, which is quoted as a cross-border ride.
Do you use the San Ysidro or Otay Mesa crossing?+
It depends on where you are going in Tijuana and on current conditions. Your chauffeur checks conditions before departure and picks the crossing that makes sense for your destination. Border wait times vary and no operator controls them.
How much time should I leave to catch a flight from CBX or TIJ?+
Border conditions vary, so we plan your pickup time with a buffer based on the day and hour of travel — tell us your flight time and we'll recommend the departure. We don't guess at a single fixed number because nobody controls the lanes.
Can you pick me up at San Diego International Airport and take me to Tijuana?+
Yes. Share your flight number with the booking and the chauffeur tracks the arrival, so a delay doesn't cost you the reservation.
What does a private car from San Diego to Tijuana cost?+
It's a flat rate quoted for your specific route, vehicle and passenger count before you book — no metering and no surge. Cross-border trips to Tijuana are quoted as an all-inclusive total; optional extras such as Fast Pass or additional stops are itemized in the quote.
Is a private car really different from a shuttle?+
Yes. A shuttle runs on its own schedule, picks up other passengers and stops where the route dictates. A private car leaves when you're ready, carries only your party and goes directly to your address — which matters most when you're catching a flight or heading to an appointment.
Can you accommodate a family with children?+
Yes. Child seats are available on request, and our SUVs and Sprinter seat larger family groups with luggage.
How far in advance should I book?+
Earlier is better, especially for early-morning airport runs, weekends and holidays. Same-day requests are worth calling in — availability depends on the day.
